Land Rover

For the last month I have had the pleasure of driving a Land Rover Discovery TVD6 SE. This vehicle is owned by the in laws as is a well used wagon. The car is the size of a small tank, which is not all bad. But would not be great for an inner city vehicle. This is a great Machine for getting up and down the yorkshire dales.

If you are keen to check them out log on to www.landrover.com. One of the best features of this car and that fact that I am driving in in a foriegn country is the GPS and the Royal Mail post code system, brilliant.

You just plug in your post code or address into the GPS and it sorts out the where you are going. The thing even talks to you as you drive. It is so easy to follow. This may be old school if you have a new car or live in the US but coming from New Zealand and having never owned a car newer than at least 10 years old. It is a huge joy.

One thing that I can not say is that the fuel consumption is NOT great. 77 pounds was to fill the tank. $221 NZD is not a great price to fill up any car.
